The necklace Nico gave Magnus may stop me from influencing her, but it didn’t stop me from feeling her. Or him. She wanted us both and so did he.

As for me…

My restraint had been worn to a nub over the last week, and her there shouldn’t be anything stopping you made it vanish. I strolled across the room, savoring the build of anticipation as I approached, walked around the counter, and stopped next to her.

“Do I really haunt your dreams?” Magnus was both timid and bold, like those sour sweet gummy candies she liked so much.

I didn’t care that Nico watched us, lust and hesitation spilling from him, as long as he didn’t stop me. I wanted to touch Magnus so badly, my body ached. To grip the back of her neck and crush my mouth to hers and tear off what little clothing she wore so I could fuck her until the way she screamed my name would make a god of fertility envious.

“Yes.” I was going to savor the moment instead. She wasn’t a dime-store peppermint stick. She was a delicate patisserie, meant to melt in my mouth one delicious bite at a time.

Magnus continued to rub her finger over Nico’s crystal, and caught her bottom lip between her teeth.

I gripped her chin loosely and freed the fleshy swell with my thumb. The simple touch was a shock to my system and I struggled to keep my brain online amid the rush that flowed between us. “May I kiss you?”

“Yes,” she whispered.

I could try to brace myself for what came next, but I refused to deprive myself of any of this experience. I traced a light touch over her skin, relishing the swell of expectation from both Magnus and Nico then dipped my head and brushed my lips over hers.

Oh, fuck me, she tasted incredible. Emotion splashed across my senses. With her barely-audible gasp, her heart fractured and mended itself, and her desire flooded me.

I pressed in harder, deepening the kiss, claiming her mouth and dancing my tongue with hers. I wanted to glut myself on this buffet, especially when she gripped my shirt tightly in her fists as if her life depended on it.

This was glorious, and there was no way I was taking her in the kitchen. When I broke away, her whimper of disappointment mingled with my groan. “Let’s take this someplace more conducive to taking our time.” I looked at Nico. “Are you coming with us?” I already knew the answer, but it was polite to ask.

He nodded. “Yes.”

“Magnus?” I met her gaze, and almost stumbled and drown in the pools of emerald staring back at me. “Is he coming with us?”

“Yes.” The mischievous smile that flitted onto her face was dangerous.

Walking upstairs would take too much time. Time I could be spending devouring Magnus. I took her hand and Nico’s, and teleported us up to my room.

Their desires were enough to drown me, and it would be a blissfully happy death, but I had to be careful not to lose myself in their emotions.
